[안종욱 기자= 경기북부/강원] 가평군은 코로나 19 확산으로 농산물 소비둔화와 가격하락으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 농업인의 경제적 부담을 덜고, 더불어 함께 살아가는 농촌 환경 조성하기 위해 농업기계 임대료 감면 혜택을 연장한다고 밝혔다.

가평군 임대농기계 임대료 감면이 시행된 지난 1월부터 현재까지(6월20일 기준) 총 776농가에서 1,571대의 임대농기계를 이용했으며, 가평군은 당초 오는 6월 말까지 예정되어 있던 감면 혜택을 올해 12월31일까지 연장할 계획이며, 이에 따라 관내 농업인은 농기계 임대사업소53기종 302대의 임대농기계를 50% 감면된 가격으로 이용할 수 있게 되었다.

또한 농업기술센터 관계자는 “이번 농기계 임대료 감면 기간 연장으로 코로나 19 장기화에 따른 농촌인력난과 농가의 경영비 절감에 조금이나마 보탬이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
