[남상훈 기자 = 횡성] 횡성군이 침체된 지역경기 활성화를 위해 지급하는 제4차 재난기본소득(희망지원금)을 지급받지 못한 주 대상자인 학생, 노인들을 위해 기존 2월 28일이었던 신청기간을 오는 3월 31일로 한달 간 연장한다고 밝혔다.

새학기가 개학함에 따라 아직 지급받지 못한 학생 및 요양시설에 입소되어 있는 거동이 불편한 어르신 등이 주 대상이며, 1인당 20만원을 지급한다. 대상자들은 오는 3월 31일까지 읍면 행정복지센터에 마련된 창구를 통해 신청하면 되고 신청은 본인 신분증을 지참하며 부득이 위임할 경우 위임인의 신분증과 도장(서명)을 지참해 방문해야 한다. 횡성지역에서만 사용할 수 있는 농협 선불카드로 지급되며 오는 2023년 6월 30일까지 사용이 가능하다. 희망지원금은 온라인 결제나 유흥시설, 사행성 업종에는 사용할 수 없다.
