[김현우 기자 = 가평] 27일 오전 청평면 이장협의회를 비롯한 여러 단체들과 하천1리 마을 주민들 100여명이 가평군청 앞에서 자전거도로 태양광발전 사업 연장을 반대하는 시위를 벌였다.

지난 13일 하천1리 마을 주민들은 똑같은 목적으로 시위를 나선 적이 있으나 시위 2일차에 서태원 군수의 중재로 잠정 중단했었다.

하지만, 중단한 지 일주일 뒤인 21일 가평군청 관계부서에서 하천1리 마을 이장과 일부 청평 주민들을 만나 태양광발전 사업 연장 불가는 어렵다는 뜻을 전했다.

이에, 하천1리 마을 주민들은 27일부터 다시 무기한 시위에 들어갈 것을 강력히 밝혔다.

하천1리 마을 주민 A씨는 "처음에는 주민들을 위한 행정을 펼칠 것처럼 말하더니 지금은 사업주의 편을 들어주는걸 보면, 마을 주민들을 우롱하는 것이랑 뭐가 다르냐"라며, 울분을 토해냈다.

한편, 가평군은 오전에 진행된 시위로 인한 긴급회의를 가졌으며, 이후 현재 해당 사업을 반대하는 일부 마을 주민들과 만나 의견을 청취하기 위해 가평군 회의실에서 간담회를 가졌다.

간담회에는 최병길 가평부군수, 이재성 소상공인과장, 원경원 에너지관리팀장 등 가평군청 관계자와 박춘근 하천1리 마을 이장 및 일부 마을 주민 대표가 참석했다.
