[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)는 강원도관광재단에서 주관하는 강원유니크베뉴에 무릉별유천지가 신규 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
강원유니크베뉴란 강원도관광재단에서 도내 마이스(MICE) 산업 활성화를 위해 지역 특성과 독특한 콘텐츠를 체험할 수 있는 특별한 행사 장소를 의미하며, 심사단은 차별성, 접근성, 마케팅 등의 평가지표를 검토하고, 서면심사와 현장심사를 거쳐 무릉별유천지가 선정됐다.
무릉별유천지는 지난해 개장한 이후로 40만명이 다녀간 관광명소로 스카이글라이더, 오푸로드 루지 등 이색 액티비티 체험시설이 잘 갖춰져 있으며, 문화재생 재창조 공간으로, 내부에는 갤러리와 전망카페 등이 조성돼 있다.
