[남상훈 기자 = 횡성군] 오는 11일 횡성군은 횡성군농업인학습단체협의회 주관 '제40회 횡성군 농업인의 날 행사'를 횡성군 국민체육센터에서 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 농업인의 날 행사는 횡성농업 발전을 선도하고, ‘군민이 부자되는, 희망횡성·행복횡성’실현과 농업·농촌의 발전을 위해 헌신하는 농업인의 노고를 격려하며 우의와 화합을 도모하는 행사가 추진된다.

이번 행사는 1,500명의 관내 농업인이 참여한 가운데 기념식을 비롯해 전시행사(명품사과 품평회, 생활목공 교육생 작품 전시, 청년4-H 화판 및 농산물 전시 등), 체험행사(국산 농산물 구분하기, 전통주 시음, 토종종자 나눔 등), 화합행사(어사매둥당 공연, 건강체조, 장기자랑, 경품추첨) 및 이벤트 행사(박 터트리기) 등 다양한 행사들이 진행될 예정이다.

임현자 생활개선횡성군연합회장은 “2년간 축소된 농업인의 날 행사를 이렇게 다시 개최하게 되어 뜻깊으며, 본 행사를 통해 횡성군 농업인의 노고를 격려하며 서로 화합하는 행사가 되었으면 좋겠다.”고 말했다.
