[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평군은 최근 물가상승, 유가상승 등으로 생활의 어려움을 겪고 있는 저소득층을 위해 한시 생활안정지원사업을 오는 6월 27일부터 시행한다고 밝혔다.

지원대상자는 기초생활수급자, 차상위계층, 복지시설수급자 등 복지급여를 받고 있는 대상자이며, 신청접수 전 대상자에게 일괄적으로 안내문을 우편으로 발송할 계획이다.

지역상품권 선불카드로 지원하기 위해 가평군 농협중앙회와 협약하여 농협선불카드로 지원할 방침이며, 카드는 충전금액을 다 사용할 경우 폐지되는 1회용 카드로 지급할 방침이다.

지급금액은 복지급여 수급 종류 및 가구원수에 따라 30만원에서 131만원까지 차등 지급되며, 복지시설에 거주하는 복지시설수급자는 별도로 1인당 20만원씩 현금으로 지급할 계획이다.

지원금 지급은 지역상품권 선불카드로 지원할 방침이며, 생활유지를 위한 지원이므로 생활용품 구매로 한정되며, 유흥시설에서 사용 등은 제한된다. 

카드신청은 별도 신청 없이 주소지 소재 읍, 면행정복지센터에 신분증을 지참하여 방문 수령하게 된다. 단, 장애인 및 거동불편 대상자는 대리수령인(법정대리인, 급여관리자)이 지급대상자(위임자) 신분증과 도장을 지참하여 방문하면, 대리로 카드를 받을 수 있다.

김성기 가평군수는 “현재 길었던 코로나19가 끝나는 엔데믹 상황과 해외 여러 사정으로 인해 국내 경제상황이 매우 좋지 않은 상황이라 저소득층의 생활고는 더 클 것으로 예상한다. 이번 한시 생활지원사업이 생활고를 겪는 분들에게 조금이나마 어려움을 덜 수 있는 계기가 되기를 희망한다”고 말했다.
