[남상훈 기자 = 가평군] 11일 경기도여성단체협의회 가평군지회는(이하 가평군지회) 가평군 여성비전센터에서 관내 소외·취약계층 청소년들을 위해 ‘여성단체가 함께하는 이웃사랑 온나눔’ 반찬봉사 실시했다.
이번 봉사활동은 박옥철 지회장을 비롯한 가평군지회 회원 10여 명이 참여했으며, 화기애애한 분위기 속에 진행됐다.
반찬은 총 4종류이며 과일 및 음료를 포함한 후식까지 다양하게 구성됐다. 가평군지회는 이를 위해 전날부터 재료를 준비하는 등 정성을 들였다. 준비된 반찬은 가평군 드림스타트를 통해 관내 소외·취약계층 청소년 20가구에 전달될 예정이다.
한편, 경기도여성단체협의회 가평군지회는 지난 2013년부터 반찬 봉사를 진행해오고 있다. 2019년부터는 가평군 드림스타트와 협약을 통해 매월 1회, 첫째 주 화요일 ‘여성단체가 함께하는 이웃사랑 온나눔’으로 반찬 봉사를 이어 오고 있다.
봉사에 참여한 가평군 여성가족팀 관계자는 “정성들여 준비된 음식들을 소외·취약계층의 아이들이 맛있게 먹었으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.
가평군지회 박옥철 지회장은 “아이들을 위한 봉사활동에 보람을 느낀다. 당연히 해야 할 일이라고 생각하며 앞으로도 지속적으로 아이들을 위한 봉사활동에 나설 것”이라고 말했다.
