[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양주시는 뇌병변 장애인 자립생활 지원과 가족의 경제적 부담을 경감하고자 신변처리용품 구입비용을 지원한다고 밝혔다.

지원대상은 대·소변흡수용품을 상시 사용하는 관내 거주하고 장애정도가 심한 만 2세 이상(25개월) 만 64세 이하의 뇌병변 장애인으로 만 65세가 도래하는 달까지 신청이 가능하다.

신청방법은 뇌병변 장애인 본인이나 친족, 그 밖의 관계인 등 대리인이 신청서, 일상생활동작검사결과서가 첨부된 진단서, 복지카드 등을 가지고 주소지 읍면동 행정복지센터를 방문해 신청하면 된다.

다만 일상생활동작검사서(수정바델지수 등) 배변 및 배뇨조절 항목 모두 2점 이하 등 조건을 충족해야 하며, 시설 입소나 유사 사업 지원 대상자는 제외된다.

지원대상자로 선정되면 분기별 구입한 영수증을 주소지 읍면동 행정복지센터로 제출 시 매월 5만원 한도 내에서 대·소변흡수용품 구입비용의 50%를 지원받을 수 있다.

시 관계자는 “이번 지원 사업이 뇌병변 장애인과 그 가족의 경제적 생활 안정과 삶의 질 향상에 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
