[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시 일동면 행정복지센터는 지난 4월부터 깨끗한 마을을 만들기 위한 자체 특수시책으로 관내 쓰레기 무단투기 상습지역 15개소를 선정해 모퉁이 화단을 조성하고 있다고 밝혔다.

일동면은 지난 4월부터 3개월간 행정복지센터와 주민자치회, 행복마을관리소 직원들이 힘을 모아 무단투기 상습지역 15개소에 환경정비를 실시하고 더 이상 불법투기를 방지하기 위해 구절초, 매리골드, 백일홍 등의 꽃을 심어 화단을 만들었다.

이번 화단이 조성된 길명리 450-12번지 일대는 마을 초입으로 불법투기 쓰레기와 무성한 잡초로 마을 미관을 저해되어 왔으며, 기산리 공영주차장 인근지역은 재활용품을 분리배출 하지 않아 쓰레기와 뒤섞여 인근 지역주민들의 불편과 민원이 빈번했다.
