[서종협 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 삼척시는 국내개발 1호 코로나19 백신인 ‘스카이코비원’ 접종을 9월 5일부터 시작했다고 밝혔다.

스카이코비원은 기존 B형 간염이나 HPV 등 다양한 백신 제조에 활용되는 유전자재조합 방식이며, 접종 후 이상 반응 대부분 경증 또는 중등증으로 3일 이내 소실되는 등  장기간 안전성과 유효성이 입증된 것이 특징이다.

접종 대상은 만 18세 이상 성인 미접종자로 기초접종(1·2차)에만 시행되며, 4주 간격으로 2회 접종해야 한다.

지난 9월 1일부터 누리집이나 삼척시 보건소 콜센터를 통해 사전예약이 가능하며, 오는 9월 13일부터 예약 접종이 이루어진다. 9월 5일부터는 예약 없이 당일 접종을 원하는 경우 의료기관에 유선 연락 후 접종할 수 있다.

삼척시 보건소 관계자는 “안전성이 강화된 만큼 이상 반응 우려로 아직 접종하지 못한 분들은 중증·사망 예방을 위해 백신 접종에 적극 동참해 주길 바란다.”고 말했다.

Skycobi One is a genetic recombination method used in the manufacture of various vaccines such as hepatitis B and HPV, and it is characterized by long-term safety and effectiveness, as most adverse reactions after inoculation are mild or moderate and disappear within 3 days.

The target of vaccination is adults 18 years of age or older who have not been vaccinated, and only the primary vaccination (1st and 2nd) is administered, and should be inoculated twice at an interval of 4 weeks.

Advance reservations can be made through the website or the Samcheok City Public Health Center call center from September 1st, and reservations will be made from September 13th. From September 5th, if you want to vaccinate on the same day without a reservation, you can contact a medical institution by phone and then vaccinate.

An official from the Samcheok City Public Health Center said, "As safety has been strengthened, those who have not yet been vaccinated due to concerns about adverse reactions are asked to actively participate in the vaccination to prevent severe and death."
