[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양양군이 지역의 숲과 하천을 탐방하며 생태 체험을 하는 ‘생태·환경 교육’의 교육생 20명을 모집한다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 양양군민에게 생태와 환경에 대한 지식을 전달하고, 이해와 감수성 증진을 통해 생태적 실천과 참여로 양양군 생활자원 보전에 기여를 유도하기 위한 장으로 마련됐다.

생태·환경 교육은 오는 9월 28일 모노골 탐방, 산림욕 체험을 시작으로 10월에는 바다 생태관찰과 해안 정화활동, 비치코밍 작품 만들기 체험 등으로 진행된다. 또 11월에는 △석호의 중요성과 보전 △이끼 테라리움 만들기에 이어 12월에는 △기후변화로 변하고 있는 지구 △탄소중립을 위한 방안에 대한 강의교육으로 마무리 된다. 

선정된 교육생에게는 강의와 함께 생태와 환경에 대한 이해 향상을 위한 야외 실습 및 만들기 체험이 무료로 지원되며, 수료생에 한해 수료증이 발급되고 교육은 9월부터 12월까지 월 1회 모두 10시간의 강의와 체험 프로그램으로 진행되며, 참가신청은 오는 25일 오후 3시까지 (사)강원산림교육협회 홈페이지에서 온라인 접수 또는 신청서 작성 후 이메일로 접수하면 되고 군청 삭도추진단이나 (사)강원산림교육협회를 직접 방문 신청도 가능하다.  

양양군 관계자는 “우리 지역의 생태와 환경에 대한 폭넓은 이해와 체험의 기회가 주어지는 이번 교육에 군민들의 많은 관심과 참여를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 인간과 환경의 공존, 지역에 대한 이해도와 보전을 위한 가치 있는 자연친화 교육을 지속적으로 운영해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
