[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동두천시는 코로나19 장기화에 따라 영업·집합 제한으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 소상공인 및 특수형태근로종사자 등을 지원하기 위해 재난특별지원금 32억 원을 지급할 계획이라고 밝혔다. 

시는 제2차 경기도 지역균형발전사업 평가에서 1위로 선정되어 받은 인센티브 중 일부를 재원으로 사용하여 소상공인 및 취약계층 등 시민과 함께 나누고자 한다고 했다. 

지원대상은 음식점, 주점 및 이·미용업 등의 소상공인, 지역예술인, 특수형태 노동종사자, 어린이집, 노인 주·야간보호시설, 종교시설, 사립유치원, 학원 및 독서실 등 25개 업종 3,365개소이며 업종에 따라 50만원에서 150만원까지 지역화폐로 지급한다. 

아울러 이번 재난특별지원금은 버스 및 법인택시 “운수종사자”가 아닌 경영 악화로 운영난에 있는 여객자동차 “운수사업자”를 지원한다. 

지난 6월 7일부터 동두천시청 홈페이지에서 온라인 접수하고 있으며 일부 업종은 담당부서에 직접 방문하여 접수할 수 있으며, 기타 자세한 내용은 홈페이지에서 확인 가능하다.
