[남상훈 기자 = 가평] 오는 3월 9일 치러지는 가평농협 조합장 선거를 앞두고 전 가평군농업기술센터 장동규 소장이 가평군 농협을 전국최우수 농협으로 발전시키겠다는 비전을 밝히며 출마를 선언했다. 

장동규 후보는 36년간 가평군 농업기술센터에서 재직하며 다양한 지식과 경험을 축적했다. 가평군 농업기술센터는 장 후보 재직기간동안 3년 연속 전국 최우수 농업기술센터로 선정되는 쾌거를 이루기도 했다. 또한, 업무 담당 팀장으로 재직한 가평클린농업대학이 전국 최우수 농업인 대학으로 평가받기도 했다. 

주요 공약으로 군청·농업기술센터와의 협약을 통해 고령조합원을 위한 영농대행단 운영, 로컬푸드 판매장 설치, 조합원 대출금리 인하,  농자재 가격 인하, 읍·면별 작목반 구성, 여성조합원 행복 바우처 지급, 조합원 역량 강화를 위한 다양한 교육 프로그램 운영 등을 제시했다.

장동규 후보는 “농부의 아들이자 농과대학을 졸업하고, 가평군 농업기술센터에서 지역농업인들을 위해 일해왔으며, 그 누구보다 농촌의 현실과 농업인들의 애환을 알고 있는 사람으로 그 경험을 살려 가평군 농협을 조합원을 위한 농협, 전국 최우수 농협으로 발전시키겠다"라는 비전을 밝히며 출마를 결심했다.
