[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 30일 화천군 청소년수련관은 오는 9월3일 오후 4시부터 화천체육관 특설무대에서 제12회 T&U 전국청소년가요제를 개최한다고 밝혔다. 

화천군 청소년수련관이 지난 2010년부터 매년 9월 첫째주 토요일에 개최해오고 있는 T&U 전국청소년가요제는 학업에 지친 청소년들에게 끼와 재능을 마음껏 펼칠 수 있는 장을 마련하고, 재충전의 기회를 제공하고 있으며 화천군과 도내 접경지역 청소년을 비롯해 춘천, 원주, 강릉 등 강원도와 전국 각지의 청소년들 사이에서 매년 화제를 불러일으키는 이벤트다.

코로나19로 2019년 이후 3년 만에 재개되는 올해 가요제에는 지난 7월부터 시작된 예선에 전국 21개 지역에서 47팀이 출전신청을 할 정도로 주목받았으며 예선은 비공개 영상심사를 통해 진행됐고 예선 결과, 댄스 9팀, 보컬 9팀 등 화천과 서울 등 10개 지역 출신 14~19세 청소년 18팀이 본선진출 티켓을 거머쥐었다. 

시상은 보컬과 댄스 부문으로 나눠 이뤄지고 부문별 대상 각각 1팀에게는 100만원의 상금이 주어지며, 금상 2팀 70만원, 은상 2팀 50만원, 동상 2팀 30만원, 인기상(1팀) 20만원의 상금이 주어지고 올해 T&U 전국청소년가요제에는 폭발적 가창력으로 가요계의 샛별로 떠오른 가수 박혜원(HYNN)이 출연해 아름다운 목소리로 화천을 수놓을 예정이다. 

최문순 화천군수는 “화천의 청소년들이 코로나19로 인한 답답했던 기억을 모두 날리고, 즐거운 추억을 만들 수 있도록 다양한 문화예술 프로그램을 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
