[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군 공직자들로 구성된 정책개발 동호회가 출범해 군민이 체감할 수 있는 정책 발굴 및 행정역량 배양에 나서게 된다.

가평군은 22일 2청사 통합교육장에서 서태원 군수를 비롯한 공직자 30여명이 참석한 가운데 MZ 패널단 발대식을 가졌다.

MZ 패널단이란 민선8기 비전인 ‘자연을 경제로 꽃피는 도시, 가평’실현을 위해 군 소속 공직자 중 2030 MZ세대 청년들을 대상으로 정책개발에 참여하도록 만든 구성원이다.

페널단은 군정방침인 ▶자연환경은 더 아름답게 ▶주민생활은 더 풍요롭게 ▶지역문화는 더 다채롭게 ▶주민참여는 더 활발하게 ▶주민안전은 더 세심하게 등 5개 분과 각 5명씩 25명으로 구성됐다.

이들은 앞으로 4개월 동안 전문교육기관 위탁을 통해 정책사업 분석, 전문강사 사례 강의, 분과별 코칭 및 브레인스토밍 등 행정의 변화․혁신 역량 강화를 위한 다양한 연구 활동을 펼치게 된다.  

이날 발대식에서 서태원 군수는 “MZ 패널단 활동을 통해 거침없는 자신의 의견을 펼치고 번뜩이는 아이디어로 새로운 정책과 시책을 다양하게 발굴해 가평 발전의 주인공이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

한편 군은 “자연을 경제로 꽃피우는 도시, 가평”이라는 민선8기 군정비전을 수립하고 7개 목표 54개 공약사업을 선정하여 군민에게 힐링과 행복을 안겨줄 수 있는 성장 동력을 찾고 있다.

특히 가평역사 박물관 건립 등 문화가 융성한 관광콘텐츠 육성 분야 등에 중점을 두고 세운 공약은 지난해 12월말 기준 완료 1건, 정상추진 53건으로 완료사업의 이행율은 1.89%지만 정상 추진되고 있는 사업을 포함하면 추진율은 100%로 약속모두 성과가 있는 상태로 나타나고 있다.
