질병관리청 중앙방역대책본부의 예상에 따르면 1월 중 전국 확진자 1만 명대, 2월 중 2만 명대를 예상하고 있는 상황으로 재택치료의 역할이 국가적인 과제로 대두됨에 따라 확진자 급증 및 확진 환자 관리 방안 변화에 따른 인력 충원과 방역대책본부 재정비가 필요했다고 전했다.

 

의정부시는 2022년 코로나19 재택치료자 대규모 발생 대비 방역대책본부 기능 강화 및 재구성 계획을 수립했으며, 방역대책본부의 관리체제를 보건소장에서 부시장 체제로 기능 강화하고, 기존 재택치료반을 재택환자관리반과 병상대기관리반으로 분리했으며, 민원응대전담반을 신설하는 등 기존 7개반을 9개반으로 확대 재구성했다고 했다.
