[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 27일 어린양예수님선교회는 아이들에게 기쁜 설날을 선물하고자 쌀, 과일, 떡, 김 등을 구입해 손수 선물 상자를 만들어 가평읍 행정복지센터에 기탁했다고 밝혔다. 

어린양예수님선교회는 앞장서서 지역사회 기부에 동참하고 있는 단체이고, 이날 기탁된 성품은 관내 아이들이 있는 취약가정에 지원되어 소중하게 쓰일 예정이라고 했다.

김옥자 권사는 “다가오는 설 명절을 기다리는 아이들의 얼굴에 웃음과 행복을 선물하고 싶어 준비했다. 아이들이 즐거운 명절을 보내길 바란다.” 라고 기탁 소감을 전했다.

임상호 가평읍장은 “아이들까지 모두 뜻깊은 설 명절을 맞이하게 되어 가평읍민의 한사람으로서 기쁘고 감사하다. 지역사회를 위해 좋은 일을 하는 많은 분들과 함께 주민들을 위해 애쓰는 행정복지센터가 되도록 노력하겠다.”는 뜻을 전했다.
