[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 27일 가평군 북면은 설 명절을 앞두고 명예사회복지공무원 15명이 참석한 1월 복지순찰을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 복지순찰은 가평축산농협에서 곰탕, 파주닭국수에서 닭죽, 유일닭강정에서 닭강정, 노성희 북면지사협 부위원장이 떡국떡을 후원한 물품으로 더욱 풍성하게 진행됐으며, 소외계층으로 선발된 22가구에 후원물품이 전달됐고, 후원품과 함께 대상자들의 안부확인과 필요서비스 파악 등 단순 물품전달이 아닌 명예사회복지공무원으로서 역할을 충실히 수행했다고 했다.     

남경호 북면장은 “생업으로 바쁨에도 불구하고 소외된 이웃을 위해 귀한시간을 할애하는 명예사회복지공무원분들에게 감사드리고 적극적인 관심으로 복지사각지대 없는 북면을 만들어 가자”고 당부의 말을 전했다.

북면 명예사회복지공무원은 지사협 위원, 복지이장, 생활업종종사자, 신고의무자 등 35명이 복지사각지대 발굴을 주임무로 활동하고 있으며, 복지순찰은 명예사회복지공무원과 고위험 복지대상자들과 일촌을 맺어 상시적인 모니터링을 실시하는 북면 특화사업이라고 밝혔다.
