[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 원주시는 최근 코로나19 확진자 폭증에 따라 코로나19 재택치료자 생필품 지급 대상을 변경하고 3월 4일부터 새로운 기준에 따라 생필품을 지급한다고 밝혔다.

원주시는 재택치료자(집중관리군, 일반관리군) 중 1인 가구에 대해 생필품을 지급해왔으나, 앞으로 재택치료자 중 집중관리군에 속한 1인 가구에 대해서만 생필품을 지급한다고 했다.

집중관리군이란 재택치료자 중 60세 이상, 50대 기저질환자 및 면역저하자, 40대 먹는 치료제를 처방받은 자 등을 말한다고 했다.

최근 각 지자체에서 코로나19 재택치료자에 대한 생필품 지급을 중단하는 사례가 늘어나고 있으나, 원주시는 최근 오미크론 변이 확산세 및 치료 기간 중 물품 조달의 어려움 등을 고려해 집중관리군 중 1인 가구에 대한 지급은 지속하기로 했다고 전했다.
