[남상훈 기자 = 원주] 오는 30일 원주지방환경청이 청사에서 관내 2개 시·도, 23개 시·군을 대상으로 드론 및 이동측정차량 등 첨단감시장비를 활용한 대기오염물질 관리 강화 교육을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

원주지방환경청은 지난 2020년에 드론 4기와 휘발성유기화합물 이동측정차량 2대를 도입한 후 대기오염물질 배출시설이 다수 위치한 산업단지의 대기오염도 모니터링을 지속적으로 수행하고 있으며 2022년 중금속 이동측정차량 1대를 추가로 도입했다.

관내에서는 강원특별자치도와 8개 시·군 및 보건환경연구원에서 드론 등 첨단감시장비를 도입하여 운영하고 있다. 이번 교육은 첨단감시장비로 대기오염물질을 측정하고 분석하는 기법과 장비 활용, 운영 시 문제점 및 해결방안 등 관리 노하우를 공유하는 방식으로 진행되며 드론을 보유하고 있는 지자체에는 측정장비의 정도관리를 시행한다. 또한 고농도 오존 상황이 자주 발생하는 5월부터 8월, 미세먼지 농도가 높은 12월부터 3월에는 첨단감시장비를 이용해 오염물질 배출사업장을 신속하게 점검하기 위해 지자체와 효율적인 협업체계 구축방안도 논의할 예정이다.
