[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 28일 동두천시 불현동은 브니엘교회에서 설 명절을 맞아 관내 어려운 이웃에게 전달해 달라며 과일과 식료품 상자 5개를 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

브니엘교회는 매년 연말과 명절 때마다 어려운 이웃들을 위한 성품을 기부하는 등 꾸준한 나눔을 실천하여 더불어 살아가는 지역사회 만들기에 귀감이 되고 있다고 했다.

전정윤 목사는 “경제적 어려움으로 적절한 영양섭취가 어려운 취약계층 아동과 어르신들이 교인들이 모은 정성어린 물품으로 행복한 명절을 보냈으면 좋겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

김지일 불현동장은 “불현동의 어려운 이웃을 위한 나눔을 실천해주심에 감사드리며, 전달해주신 물품은 복지사각지대 저소득 가정에 잘 전달하겠다” 고 전했다.
