[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동두천시 보산동 행정복지센터는 지난 14일 말라리아 및 진드기 등 매개 감염병 예방을 위한 방역 소독을 걸산동에서 실시했다고 밝혔다.

걸산 마을은 오지마을로 방역의 손길이 자주 미치지 못했던 방역 취약지역이며, 기온이 상승함에 따라 모기, 파리 등 감염병 매개 해충의 번식 활동이 활발해짐에 따라 이번에 집중 소독을 실시하였다. 

여운성 보산동장은 “집중 방역을 통해 여름철 감염병 전파 확산과 발생을 예방하고 쾌적한 주거환경을 조성해 지역주민의 건강을 지켜나가겠다”고 말했다.
