[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동두천시는 코로나19 확산 방지를 위해 산업단지 입주기업의 전 근로자를 대상으로 코로나19 진단검사와 백신접종을 강력하게 요청하였다고 밝혔다. 

이번 진단검사는 최근 공장 근로자들의 코로나19 집단감염 발생에 따라 산업단지 내 집단감염 차단 및 지역사회 감염 확산을 방지하기 위해 실시되며, 산업단지 내 기업에서 근무하는 근로자는 오는 21일부터 23일까지 운영되는 임시선별검사소에서 무료로 진단검사를 받을 수 있다고 했다.

최용덕 동두천시장은 “이번 진단검사는 지역사회 코로나19 확산 방지가 목적이므로, 산업단지 입주기업 사업주께서는 사업장의 근로자가 반드시 코로나19 진단검사를 받을 수 있도록 조치하여 줄 것을 당부드린다”고 밝혔다. 

한편, 동두천시는 이번 진단검사 이후 유관기관 등과 협조를 통해 산업단지 사업장 내 3밀 '밀집·밀접·밀폐' 작업환경 점검, 마스크 착용·거리두기 등 방역수칙 준수 여부를 확인할 계획이라고 했다.
