이에 대한 대책으로 추진단의 재택치료반과 협력병원인 의정부의료원, 의정부백병원, 성베드로병원이 긴밀히 협조해 재택치료자에 대해 하루 2~3회 24시간 건강모니터링을 실시함으로써 증상에 대한 신속한 처방 및 응급상황 발생 등에 대한 적절한 대응을 통한 안전한 재택치료가 이루어지도록 할 것이 주문됐다고 전했다.
