[남상훈 기자 = 의정부] 지난 28일 김동근 의정부시장이 시장실에서 ‘구글이 선정한 최고의 미래학자’ 토머스 프레이(Dr. Thomas Frey) 다빈치 연구소장과 ‘미래를 위한 청소년 교육 방향’에 대해 논의했다고 밝혔다.

한편, 의정부시 금오동 산30-7번지 일원 유류저장소 부지에 추진 중인 미래직업체험관은 단순한 직업체험이 아닌 유·청소년들이 2050년 가상의 미래도시를 배경으로 게임과 놀이를 통해 앞으로 변화할 미래직업에 필요한 역량과 진로를 탐색하는 몰입체험형 테마파크로 오는 2027년 내 준공 예정이다.
