[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 14일 소흘읍지역사회보장협의체는 올해 마지막 정기회의를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 정기회의에서는 2021년을 마무리하며 추진사업의 성과를 돌아보고 내년도 계획을 구상하는 시간을 가졌다고 했다.

소흘읍지역사회보장협의체는 올 한해 따뜻한 겨울 온기나눔사업, 홀몸어르신 안부확인 결연사업, 취약계층에 생필품과 식료품을 전달하는 행복보따리나눔사업, 민관합동 행복나눔 김장담그기사업, 행복나눔요구르트 지원사업 등을 실시하며 취약계층의 안전을 살피는 데 앞장섰고, 연2회 복지위기가구 발굴 홍보 캠페인을 펼치는 등 복지사각지대 발굴에도 적극 노력했다고 전했다.

또한 포천시네잎클로버사업을 소흘읍 취약계층 특성에 맞춰 여름나기사업, 생계·의료비 지원사업, 어르신 이동지원사업, 난방유 지원사업 등으로 나눠 위기가구 맞춤 지원 복지사업을 추진했으며, 그 결과 올 한해 추진한 12개 복지사업들로 660명의 소외된 이웃을 살피고 도울 수 있었다고 했다.

김경복 민간위원장은 “내년에는 우리 주변을 더 세심하게 살피고 둘러보며 어려운 이웃들을 발굴하고, 활발한 민·관 협력 연계 및 사업 추진에 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 말했다.

최기진 공공위원장은 “올 한해 지역복지 증진에 애쓰신 위원님들께 감사드리며, 내년에도 지역사회보장협의체가 더욱 활성화될 수 있도록 최선을 다해 지원하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
