[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11일, 동두천시는 한국에너지재단에서 주관하는 ‘2022년 저소득층 에너지효율개선사업’ 신청자를 선착순으로 모집한다고 밝혔다.

대상은 국민기초생활보장법에 따른 수급권자, 차상위계층과 복지사각지대의 일반 저소득가구 등 약 150가구이며, 낡은 벽체, 창호, 보일러 때문에 에너지 효율이 떨어지는 에너지 취약가구에 무상으로 가구별 적합한 단열·창호·바닥공사나 보일러 교체, 선풍기 지원 등을 한다고 전했다.

지원을 희망하는 가구는 올해 10월 31일까지 거주지 동 행정복지센터에 방문해 신청하면 되고, 한국에너지재단의 심사와 시공업체의 방문조사로 지원 여부가 최종 결정된다고 했다.

시 관계자는 “한국에너지재단과 적극 협력해 에너지 취약계층 가구가 적기에 에너지 복지 혜택을 받을 수 있도록 홍보에 최선을 다하겠다”라고 밝혔다.
