[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 1월 21일 의정부시 흥선동행정복지센터는 다온중 찬봉사 동아리에서 설 명절을 맞아 관내 홀몸어르신 12가구에 사랑의 밑반찬 나눔 행사를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사는 다온중 찬봉사 동아리에서 사랑과 정성으로 맛있게 준비한 밑반찬, 사골국, 떡국과 수제수세미를 다가오는 설 명절 누구보다 외롭고 어려운 시기를 보내고 있는 홀몸어르신에게 직접 전달하며 안부를 살폈다고 했다.

최선자 다온중 찬봉사 동아리 회장은 “학부모와 학생들이 정성껏 준비한 밑반찬 및 수제수세미 등이 어려운 시기를 보내고 있는 어르신들에게 작은 위로가 되길 바라며, 맛있게 드시고 따뜻한 설 명절을 보내셨으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.

유준영 흥선동 복지지원과장은 “모두가 어려운 시기에 이웃을 위해 나눔을 실천해주신 다온중 찬봉사 동아리 회원분들께 진심으로 감사드리고, 앞으로도 여러 단체들의 뜻깊은 봉사활동이 이어질 수 있도록 관심과 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 전했다.

한편 다온중 찬봉사 동아리는 2019년 4월부터 현재까지 흥선동 거주 홀몸어르신, 독거장애인 등 어려운 이웃 400가구에게 정성스럽게 마련한 밑반찬과 손뜨개 수세미를 전달했다고 밝혔다.
