[남상훈 기자 = 의정부] 지난 30일 의정부시 호원1동주민센터는 호원1동지역사회보장협의체에서 독거노인 한파대비 사랑 나눔 꾸러미 전달식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 유례없는 한파가 계속되는 요즘 중점돌봄 및 고위험군 독거노인 어르신들이 따뜻하고 건강한 겨울을 보내길 바라는 마음으로 경기사회복지공동모금회 지원을 받아 노인 맞춤 돌봄서비스 수행기관인 나눔의 샘 재가노인지원서비스센터를 통해 20명을 선정하여 추진했다.

꾸러미는 전기요와 겨울이불을 포함한 방한용품과 멘소래담, 찰오곡쌀, 건강차 등 건강용품으로 다양하게 구성하여 채웠으며 호원1동지역사회보장협의체와 독거노인생활지원사분들이 함께 전달했다.

꾸러미를 받은 어르신은 “날씨가 추워도 난방비 걱정에 보일러를 틀지도 못 하는데 덕분에 남은 겨울은 따뜻하고 건강하게 보낼 수 있을거 같다”며 푸짐한 꾸러미를 받고 행복해했다.

조복현 호원1동장은 “최근 기상이변으로 인한 대설과 한파로 그 어느 때보다 어르신들이 추운 겨울을 보내고 있는데 오늘 준비된 꾸러미를 통해 조금 더 따뜻하고 건강한 겨울을 보내셨으면 좋겠다. 오늘 행사 준비부터 꾸러미 전달까지 동과 협력해준 호원1동지역사회보장협의체 및 독거노인생활지원사분들에게 감사드린다”고 말했다.
