[서종협 기자 = 태백시] 태백시(시장 이상호)는 동절기 취약계층 보호를 강화하기 위해 2023년 2월 말까지 ‘동절기 복지사각지대 집중 발굴기간’을 운영하고 따뜻한 겨울을 보낼 수 있도록 적극 지원한다고 밝혔다.

중점 발굴 대상은 △계절형 실업 저소득 가구 △독거노인, 장애인 등 생활·돌봄 위기가구 △긴급한 위기 사유로 생계 유지가 어려운 가구△동절기 에너지 빈곤층 △ 도움을 필요로 하지만 지원받지 못하는 소외계층 등이다.

시는 각 동 행정복지센터와 희망복지지원단, 지역사회보장협의체 등으로 민관협력 체계를 구축하여 어려운 이웃을 적극 발굴 및 지원해 나갈 계획이다.

특히, 위기가구 관련 정보를 종합한 빅데이터를 기반으로 고위험 가구를 예측하고 찾아가는 복지상담 등 지역사회 인적 네트워크를 활용하여 복지 위기가구를 선제적으로 발굴 지원하게 된다.
