[김준호 기자=삼척시] 삼척시가 3월 20일 14시 미로 공공이불 빨래방 희망을 담는 빨래바구니 개소식을 갖고 본격적 운영에 들어간다.
미로 공공이불 빨래방 사업장은 (구)미로어린이집 건물(지상 1층)을 총 3억 원(삼표시멘트 기금)을 들여 리모델링해 사무실, 세탁·건조실, 휴게탈의실, 창고 등을 마련했다.
이에따라, 미로 지역 내 노인 일자리를 창출하고, 미로면, 성내동, 교동 지역의 취약계층에게 이불세탁·돌봄·생필품 배달 등 통합복지서비스를 제공할 수 있게 되었다.
이번사업은 한국노인인력개발원, 삼표시멘트,디피코, BGF리테일, 파로스, 한전kps삼척사업소, 안부를 묻는 우유배달 등 민간기관과 연계협력을 통해 일자리와 복지, 사회공헌 사업을 추진하게 되었다.

희망을 담는 빨래바구니 사업은 사회약자와 취약계층의 이불, 대형 침구류를 무료로 수거하여 세탁·배달해 주는 사업으로, 생필품 구입구매 대행서비스와 안부를 묻는 우유배달 서비스도 함께 제공한다.
한편, 삼척시는 지난 2020년 9월 전국 최초로 도계지역에 강원랜드희망재단 등과 함께 노(老)-노(老)케어 희망을 담는 빨래바구니 사업을 시작했다.
