[김준호 기자=동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)가 설 명절을 맞아, 오는 20일까지 관내 취약계층과 사회복지시설 등 위문에 나선다고 밝혔다.

위문 대상은 지역내 기초생활수급자, 보훈대상자, 북한이탈주민, 진폐재해자 등 취약계층 5,500여명 및 사회복지시설 16개소를 대상으로 공동모금회와 협력하여 1억 2천 2백만원 상당의 위문금(품)을 전달할 예정이다.

한편, 어려운 이웃을 위해 현금 및 물품 등 기부를 원하는 시민과 기관 및 단체는 가까운 행정복지센터 및 복지과로 문의하면 된다.
