[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시 지난 7월 13일 신곡2동 지역사회보장협의체는 건강한 여름나기 쿨(Cool) 원정대 특화사업을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이날 특화사업은 경기사회복지공동모금회의 예치금을 활용해 더운 여름 힘들게 보내시는 지역사회 내 저소득 한부모가정 10가구와 중장년 독거 20가구에 선풍기, 여름이불, 라면, 햇반 등의 여름나기 생활용품을 위문 전달하는 행사였다.

이윤분 신곡2동 지역사회보장협의체 위원장은 “더위에 힘들고 외롭게 보내시는 한부모가정, 중장년 독거인들이 조금이나마 위로를 받고 힘을 내서 건강하게 여름을 나길 바라는 마음에서 추진됐다”고 말했다.

김세원 신곡2동장은 “지역사회 복지공동체성 회복을 위해 열성을 다해 활동하고 계시는 협의체 위원장님과 위원들께 감사드린다”며 “이웃과 더불어 사는 마을복지를 위해 주민센터도 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
