[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 23일 포천동 통장협의회는 어려운 이웃에게 전달해 달라며 백미 10kg 300포를 포천동행정복지센터에 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

이날 기탁된 쌀은 관내 경로당, 취약계층 청소년, 홀몸어르신 등에게 골고루 전달할 예정이라고 했다.

이한규 통장협의회장은 “어려운 시기에 도움이 필요한 이웃들에게 조금이나마 도움이 되고 위로가 될 수 있길 바라는 마음으로 쌀을 기탁하게 됐다.”라고 소감을 밝혔다.

김태석 포천동장은 “연말을 맞아 어려운 이웃들이 따뜻한 겨울을 보낼 수 있도록 온정을 나눠 주셔서 감사하다.”라며 “소중한 뜻을 지역 내 어려운 이웃에게 전달하겠다.”라고 화답했다.
