[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 김동연 경기도지사가 도내 31개 시군과 함께 집중호우 피해 복구와 예방에 모든 역량을 총동원하겠다고 밝혔다. 

김 지사는 8월 9일 아침 대통령 주재로 열린 집중호우 대처 긴급 점검 회의에서 “집중호우와 관련해 31개 시군과 함께 비상 대처에 만전을 기하고 있다”면서 “신속하게 실종자 수색 및 부상자 치료를 실시하는 한편 이재민에 대해서는 임시주거시설을 마련하고 생필품을 지원하고 있다”고 말했다. 

김 지사는 이어 “현재 비상 2단계를 유지하고 있지만 호우특보를 고려해 최고단계로 격상할 계획”이라며 “인명피해 우려 지역에 대한 사전 예찰을 강화하고 하천들에 대한 통제를 더욱 강화하겠다”고 강조했다. 

김 지사는 오후 3시 용인시 고기동 침수현장을 방문해 피해상황을 점검하고, 주택침수로 60여 명이 일시대피하고 있는 광명종합사회복지관을 찾아 이재민들을 위로할 계획이다.

한편, 경기도는 김 지사 지시에 따라 집중호우 대처 긴급 점검 회의 직후 오병권 행정1부지사 주재로 시군 부단체장 긴급영상대책회의를 열고 피해 복구와 예방에 모든 역량을 총동원하기로 했다.
