[남상훈 기자 = 홍천군] 홍천군 서석면은 ‘에너지효율개선사업’의 신청가능대상 85가구를 전수조사 후 그 중 30가구를 사업 연계하여 어려운 이웃의 따뜻한 겨울나기를 위한 집수리가 시공 중에 있다고 밝혔다.  

에너지효율개선사업은 한국에너지재단에서 에너지 소비를 줄이기 위해 기초수급자 및 차상위, 복지사각지대 대상자에게 단열·창호·보일러 설치 및 냉방기기를 무상으로 지원해주는 사업이다. 

서석면 찾아가는보건복지담당에서는 대상가구에게 사업내용을 개별적으로 설명하는 등 대상자를 적극 발굴하였으며, 세대별 필요한 부분을 맞춤형으로 파악한 후 집수리를 진행하고 있다. 

지난 9월 단열 및 창호공사를 진행한 장애인가구는 “겨울이면 창문에서 들어오는 냉기가 그대로 전달되어 추웠는데, 지금은 냉기도 차단되고 외풍도 없어져서 너무 따뜻해졌다”며, “개인이 하기 어려운 공사를 해주셔서 너무 감사드린다”고 전했다. 

김정란 서석면장은 “에너지효율사업을 통해 어려운 이웃들이 따듯한 겨울을 맞이할 수 있게 힘써주시는 모든 분들에게 감사드린다”며, “주민 분들이 더 많은 복지서비스를 받을 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
