[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 14일 양주시 광적면은 지역사회보장협의체에서 제4기 지역사회보장협의체 위원 15명 위촉식과 정기회의를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 회의는 코로나19 방역지침을 철저히 준수한 가운데 신규위원에 대한 위촉장 수여와 공동위원장·부위원장·총무 선출, 마을복지사업 추진 관련한 안건 토의 순으로 진행됐다고 했다.

제4기 공동위원장은 제3기 공동위원장을 역임하며 지역복지를 위해 열과 성을 다해 봉사해온 이태순 위원이 만장일치로 재선출됐으며, 부위원장은 황효순 위원, 총무는 조용엽 위원이 선임됐고, 새롭게 구성된 제4기 임원진들은 향후 2년간 민관협력 활성화와 지역사회복지 발전을 위해 중추적 역할을 수행하게 된다고 했다.

이태순 공동위원장은 "3기에 이어 제4기에도 공동위원장직을 맡게 되어 책임이 무겁지만, 위원들과 협력하여 임기 2년 동안 최선을 다해 협의체를 이끌어나가겠다"며 "복지수요가 날로 증가하는 만큼 우리 광적면 지역사회보장협의체가 행정의 손길이 미치지 못하는 곳까지 살뜰히 챙겨 소외계층의 등불이 되겠다"고 전했다.
