[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 21일 소흘읍행정복지센터는 소흘읍 지역사회보장협의체에서 독거어르신 결연세대 등 저소득 20가구에 행복보따리 나눔사업을 추진했다고 밝혔다.

이날 지역사회보장협의체 위원장을 비롯하여 위원들은 행복보따리를 직접 포장하고 대상자 가정을 방문해 물품을 전달하며 어르신들의 안부를 확인하고 건강상태를 살폈다고 했다.

행복보따리 나눔사업은 협의체 자체 추진사업으로 라면, 김, 즉석식품 등 식료품 15가지 품목으로 구성됐으며, 소흘읍 지역사회보장협의체로 기탁된 후원금으로 마련됐다고 전했다.

김경복 위원장은 “설을 맞이하여 외로운 어르신들에게 행복보따리를 전달하게 되어 기쁘다. 지역의 어려운 분들이 건강하고 외롭지 않게 지내실 수 있도록 올 한해도 더욱 노력하겠다.”라고 말했다.

최기진 소흘읍장은 “연초라 바쁘신 중에도 지역사회보장협의체 임인년 새해 첫 복지사업인 ‘행복보따리 나눔사업’에 적극 참여해주신 위원들께 감사드린다. 올해도 지역사회보장협의체와 함께 소흘읍행정복지센터도 어려운 이웃에게 더욱 집중하도록 하겠다.”라고 전했다.
