김근자 부녀회장은 “회장직을 맡은 지 올해로 5년 차가 되었다. 그동안 부녀회가 잘 운영이 된 것은 여러 부녀회장님들 덕분이라고 생각한다. 올해에도 각종 행사 계획이 많은데 바쁘시겠지만 소흘읍 발전을 위해 많은 협조와 참여 부탁드린다.”라고 전했다. 

최기진 읍장은 “연초 바쁜 일정에도 지역발전과 부녀회의 활성화를 위해 회의에 참석해주신 부녀회장님들께 감사드린다.”면서 “부녀회 활동과 따뜻한 나눔, 배려로 지역 내에 어려운 이웃과 함께하는 등 지역복지를 위해서 적극적인 지원을 아끼지 않겠다.”라고 전했다.
