[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시 가산면 지역사회보장협의체는 지난 8일, 에너지 취약계층을 대상으로 시원하고 건강한 여름을 보낼 수 있도록 ‘쿨~하게 여름나기’ 사업을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 경기사회복지공동모금회의 배분사업으로 가산면 지역사회보장협의체 위원들은 에너지 취약계층 25가구에 선풍기를 전달했다. 

그리고 더운 시간대 휴식하기, 시원한 옷을 입고 양산 쓰기, 물 자주 마시기, 식중독 예방하기, 주변 사람 건강 살피기 등 폭염 시 행동 요령을 안내했다.

이덕순 민간위원장은 “폭염으로 힘든 시기를 보내고 있는 어려운 이웃에게 도움이 되고자 선풍기를 준비했다. 이웃들 모두가 건강하고 시원하게 여름을 보내길 바란다.”고 말했다.

이진희 가산면장은 “홀몸 어르신 등 에너지 취약계층이 무더운 여름을 안전하게 보낼 수 있도록 선풍기를 전달해 준 가산면 지역사회보장협의체에 감사의 말씀을 드린다.“면서 ”기후변화로 어려움을 겪는 주민들이 안전하게 지낼 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다.“고 전했다.
