[김준호 기자 = 정선군] 임계면 주민자치위원회(위원장 이재억)가 지역주민 모두가 건강하고 행복한 지역사회를 위한 맞춤형 봉사활동 및 지원에 앞장서고 있다.
위원회는 21일 지역 내 홀몸 어르신들을 위한 사랑의 행복한 생신상 배달 봉사활동을 전개했다. 이날 봉사활동은 지역내 홀몸어르신 35가구에 정성껏 만든 롤케이크 등 음식 꾸러미 생신상을 직접 전달하고 생신축하와 함께 말벗을 되어드리는 등 소통과 공감하는 소중한 시간을 가졌다.
또한 이날 임계면 용산2리와 송계8리에 거주하는 홀몸 어르신 2가구를 방문해 노후 보일러 교체 등 주거환경개선 자원봉사를 실시했다.
아울러 임계면 주민자치위원회는 지역 주민들의 문화 여가 활동 지원은 물론 6.25 참전 유공자 초청간담회, 사랑 나눔 모금행사를 통한 기부 활동, 벽화그리기 봉사활동 등 모두가 행복한 지역사회 발전을 위해 다양한 봉사활동을 전개하고 있다.
