[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양주시무한돌봄행복센터는 지난 27일, 의정부 송산로타리클럽로부터 지원받아 저소득 가정 및 위기 가정에 '생필품 나눔 기부행사'를 진행했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 진행된 ‘생필품 나눔 기부행사’는 양주시 남부권역 저소득⋅위기가정 등 경제적으로 어려운 이웃에게 전달하기 위하여 백미 100kg, 라면 20Box를 기탁하는 행사였다. 

권오준 의정부 송산로타리클럽 회장은 “이번 생필품 지원이 복지 취약계층에 보탬이 되기를 바라는 마음으로 준비하였다. 앞으로도 경기북부 관내외 지역발전에 기여하고 어려운 이웃을 돕는데 지속적으로 앞장서겠다”라고 기탁 소감을 밝혔다. 

양주시무한돌봄행복센터 김나영 센터장은 “연이은 물가상승, 코로나 19 재확산 등으로 모두가 경제적으로 어려운 시기에 따뜻한 후원을 해주신 의정부 송산로타리클럽에 더욱 큰 감사의 인사를 전한다. 의정부 송산로타리클럽의 마음을 담아 소외되고 어려움을 겪는 우리의 이웃들에게 전달하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.

한편, 국제로타리 3690지구 의정부송산 로타리클럽은 어려운 이웃을 돕고 사랑과 나눔을 실천하기 위하여 지난 2021년 12월 설립되었다.
