[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 16일, 동두천시 생연2동 황해떡집은 관내 저소득 취약계층 50가구에 정성이 담긴 따끈한 송편을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

생연2동의 착한식당인 황해떡집은 매월 한부모, 장애인, 홀몸어르신 등 저소득 취약계층을 돕기 위해 손수 만든 떡을 후원하고 있으며, 이날 후원받은 떡은 생연2동지역사회보장협의체 위원들이 가가호호 방문 전달하며 취약계층 안부확인 및 실태조사를 실시했다고 전했다.

정진영 대표는 “생연2동을 위해 의미있는 일에 참여할 수 있어 보람되며 작은 나눔에 지역사회 주민분들이 좋아해주셔서 감사하다”면서 “앞으로도 꾸준히 봉사하여 지역사회 발전에 기여하겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
