[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 22일 로컬드림봉사회는 동짓날 소요동 홀몸어르신·장애인 등 취약계층 12가구에 맛있는 팥죽을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

로컬드림봉사회는 매월 꾸준히 밑반찬 배달, 주거환경 개선 등을 지원하는 봉사단체이며, 이날도 로컬드림봉사회 회원들은 이른 아침부터 이창민 회장의 집에 모여 정성껏 팥죽을 만들었다고 했다.

로컬드림봉사회 이창민 회장은 “작은 관심과 정성이 누군가에게는 큰 힘이 될 수 있다고 믿기 때문에 앞으로도 주위에 소외된 이웃들을 위해 꾸준히 봉사하여 소요동의 복지체감도 향상에 기여하고 싶다”는 소감을 전했다.  

김기덕 소요동장은 “어려운 이웃을 생각하고 도와주시는 로컬드림봉사회 덕분에 소요동 전역에 따뜻한 온기가 가득한 것 같다”며 “앞으로도 복지사각지대 해소를 위한 로컬드림봉사회의 많은 협조 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
