생연2동지역사회보장협의체에 따르면, 2021년 한 해 동안 착한식당 23개 곳을 통해 저소득층 약 600가구에게 식품이 지원됐으며, 나눔·기부자들의 일시후원을 통해 생필품·마스크·쌀 등 일상생활에 필요한 물품이 관내 저소득가구에 함께 지원됐다고 했다.

이날 장미인삼주를 받은 한 착한식당 기부자는 “작더라도 지역주민들과 함께 나누고픈 마음에 기부한 것인데 이렇게 감사 선물을 받게 되어 고맙다”며 소감을 밝혔다.

생연2동지역사회보장협의체 김일 공동위원장은 “지역 내 저소득층 주민들을 돕는 뜻깊은 일에 동참해 주시는 많은 기부자 및 봉사자분들께 깊은 감사인사를 드리며 2022년에도 지속적인 관심을 부탁드린다”고 전했다.
