[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동두천시는 지난 7월 29일 5급 이상 간부 공무원 및 민원 창구 공무원을 대상으로 민선8기 공직자 친절마인드 혁신을 위한 교육을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이날 교육은 박형덕 동두천시장이 민선8기를 출범하면서 '친절'과 '적극행정'을 가치로 내세우며, 공직자의 태도가 적극적으로 바뀌면 동두천 시민의 표정이 확 달라질 것이라는 공직자의 의식개혁 강조에 따라 추진되었다. 

지난 7월 29일 5급 이상 간부 공무원을 대상으로 외부 전문 강사를 초빙해 친절교육을 실시, 조직 분위기를 솔선수범으로 이끌어 줄 것을 강조하는 한편, 민원 창구 공무원 대상으로 민원인 배려 표현과 마음가짐에 대해 자체 사내강사를 통해 교육하였다. 

시는 공직자의 친절 마인드 향상을 위해 기존 대상 구분 없이 전 직원 집합으로 실시했던 교육 방식을 올해 7월부터 대상별 맞춤형 교육으로 전환하여 운영하기로 했다.

한편, 동두천시는 하반기 중 친절도 평가 결과 및 민원 만족도 조사 결과를 바탕으로 전문강사를 통해 문제점을 돌출하고 개선 방향을 코칭할 계획이다.
