[김택곤 기자 = 영월군] 영월군과 호서대학교 서울창업보육센터, ㈜스타벤처스는 영월군 청년창업 생태계를 강화하기 위한 상호 간 업무협약을 체결을 했다.

영월군은 청년이 정착하기 좋은 영월을 만들기 위해 생태계 조성사업을 다각화하고 있으며 아이템을 가진 청년 창업가를 발굴하기 위해여 청년 기업으로 육성하고자 영월형 민간투자 주도형 창업지원을 추진한다.

청년 창업지원을 위해 민간전문 투자사와 창업교육과 기술을 지원하는 창업보육센터와 협력을 진행한다.

▶청년창업가의 발굴과 창업 투자 지원금은 민간전문 투자사인 ㈜스타벤처스(대표 문지은)에서 진행하고 ▶지역 연계 창업교육과 창업 기술 지원은 호서대학교 서울창업보육센터(센터장 허철무)가 맡게 되며, ▶영월군은 교육과 투자금이 지원된 청년 기업에 대하여 현장 코칭과 대응 사업을 추진하게 된다.

협약에 따라 각 추진체계에서는 ▶공동교육 프로그램 협력, ▶청년 창업가 발굴과 후속 투자에 대한 엑셀러레이터 추진, ▶청년창업과의 원스톱 후속 투자 연계 지원 등으로 상호 업무 협력을 바탕으로 지역을 청년이 창업하기 좋은 환경 조성에 공동의 노력을 펼칠 계획이다. 

영월군수(최명서)는 “초기 유망 창업기업이 선도 기술 아이템을 보유하고도 성장이 지체되는 것을 막고 지역창업 생태계 발전을 위해 다양한 분야와 협업체계를 만들어 가도록 노력하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
