[김현우 기자 = 동두천] 동두천시는 오는 12월 13일 화요일 시청 민원실에서 '동두천시장과의 슬기로운 민원상담'을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

그동안 진행된 민원상담이 관련 부서에서 실무자와의 상담이었다면, 이번 상담은 시장이 직접 민원실에서 실무자들과 함께 민원인의 고충을 듣고 적극적인 해결 방안을 찾는다는 점이다.

상담 결과는 사안에 따라 현장 확인과 관계법령 검토 등을 통해 민원인에게 전달될 계획이다.

박형덕 동두천시장은 “동두천시장과의 슬기로운 민원상담이 시민 여러분의 신문고가 되어 답답한 가슴을 시원하게 두드려 줄 수 있는 소통현장이 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.

한편, 동두천시장과의 슬기로운 민원상담은 시민과의 소통강화로 적극 행정을 펼치겠다는 박형덕 시장의 강력한 의지로 매월 둘째 화요일 추진되고, 사전예약제로 운영한다.

또한, 시청 민원실을 방문 민원개요를 민원상담 일지에 작성하여 신청하면 상담일과 시간을 안내받을 수 있다.
