[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군이 최근 민선8기 공약실천에 대한 공직자의 마음가짐을 다지기 위해 공약이행 교육을 가졌다고 18일 밝혔다.

교육은 공직자 80여명이 참석했으며, 한국매니페스토실천본부 이광재 사무총장이 강사로 나와 성공적 공약이행을 위한 공직자 공약실천 역량강화 특별강연을 진행했다.

이 강사는 공약사업의 이해와 중요성, 이행률 제고방안, 타 시군 우수사례, 군의 미래방향 설정을 위한 정책적 제언 등을 강연해 공약에 대한 직원들의 이해를 넓히고 실천의지를 다지는 계기를 마련했다.

이날 교육에는 최병길 부군수가 참석해 직원들을 격려하며“이번 특강을 계기로 직원들이 민선8기 공약이행의 필요성과 중요성에 대해 깊이 인식하고 성공적인 공약이행을 위해 함께 고민하는 기회가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

가평군은 군민중심의 경제․농업정책 9개 사업, 맞춤형 인구 정책 추진 6개 사업, 문화가 융성한 관광콘텐츠 육성 14개 사업, 생활인구 10만의 자족도시 완성 6개 사업, 도시인프라 확충 12개 사업, 군민의 건강한 삶 5개 사업, 일 잘하는 가평군 3개 사업 등 7대 공약목표를 중심으로 55건의 공약을 확정짓고 사업추진에 박차를 가하고 있다.   

2025~2026년 경기도 종합체육대회 유치 등 문화가 융성한 관광콘텐츠 육성 분야에 중점을 두고 세운 공약은 올해 3월말 기준 완료 2건, 정상추진 53건으로 완료사업의 이행율은 3.64%지만 정상 추진되고 있는 사업을 포함하면 추진율은 100%로 약속모두 성과가 있는 상태다.

완료된 사업은 민원정책관제 및 감사관실 신설 및 환경부 대응 환경정책자문위원회 설치․운영으로, 적극적인 민원해결과 청렴한 공직사회를 조성하고 쾌적한 환경을 만들어 감으로써 주민들이 체감하는 행정서비스 만족도를 높이고 있다. 

또한, 금년 7월, 개설예정인 예산 및 사업유치를 위한 서울사무소 설치, 2026년 완료될 계획인 미영연방 관광안보공원 조성, 인구소멸 위기 대응을 위한 청평면․조종면․설악면 등 생활권역별 어린이 놀이체험시설 조성 등 53개 사업이 정상추진 되고 있다.   

한편 군은 공약사업별로 연차별 추진계획이 적시에 달성될 수 있도록 지속적으로 점검․추진함은 물론 군 홈페이지를 통해 공약추진실적을 공개하는 등 투명한 신뢰행정을 확보해 나갈 계획이다.
