[김준호 기자=삼척시] 삼척시청소년상담복지센터에서는 지난 3월 17일(금) 관내 초·중·고등학교 교감 및 전문상담교사, 전문상담사와 2023년 제1차 학교지원단 운영회의를 진행했다. 

학교지원단은 각급 학교와의 협조 관계 형성을 통하여 학교부적응·학업중단 청소년을 조기에 발견하고 지원하기 위한 관내 각급 학교로 구성된 조직이다.

이날 운영회의에서는, 관내 청소년들을 대상으로 욕구조사를 진행하여 이용자 욕구 중심의 프로그램을 개발하기 위한 계획에 적극적인 지지와 협조에 동의하였다.

또, 이번 회의에 참석한 한 전문상담교사는 삼척 관내에서 발생하는 가출청소년에게 쉼터가 필요한 실정임을 알리며 청소년 쉼터 부재에 대해 안타까운 마음을 전했다. 

삼척시청소년상담복지센터 김정희 센터장은 “청소년에 대한 상담 및 교육뿐만 아니라 긴급구조, 보호, 의료지원, 학업지원, 자립지원 등의 서비스 제공 및 사례관리가 체계적으로 이뤄져 청소년이 건강하고 행복하게 성장할 수 있도록 지원하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.

한편, 삼척시청소년수련관 3층에 위치한 삼척시청소년상담복지센터는 심리·정서적 어려움으로 도움이 필요한 청소년 및 학부모 모두 이용가능하며, 또한 365일 24시간 운영하고 있는 ‘청소년전화 1388’을 통해 상담의 기회를 제공하고 있다.
